TAÍS BRAVO

PARTIDA

aquela troca
onde não cabe mais ninguém
o absurdo
de não caber mais ninguém
só pode ser um lapso
uma folha que se solta
o despertar de um vulcão
o passo destrutivo de uma placa tectônica
uma possessão

o amor se torna
o absurdo
no meio do centro do Rio de Janeiro
duas pessoas fecham os olhos
e movem suas bocas
ao encontro uma da outra
duas pessoas de olhos fechados a todas as outras
o risco
é uma banalidade

você vê que eu não
faço da repetição um hábito
porque é precisamente nestes gestos
que se quebra a ilusão
de se repetir
de sermos iguais
de tocarmos o mesmo corpo
de ignorarmos todo o resto
de ignorar o perigo de aderir a primeira pessoa do plural
e ignorar todo o resto
o amor se torna
a constatação de não ser intacta

e você tenta
você busca entre as linhas
um ponto que fique
um macete
algo que te dê
o controle de ser quem
arranca a folha
se joga no magma
perfura a tsunami
conduz os ritos

mas você não é
do tamanho
da sua força
você é o que escapa
quando ao seu redor
persiste o abandono
como promessa
o amor se torna
insustentável

DEPARTURE

a conversation crossed by Warsan Shire

i don’t know when love became so elusive
became so cunning
so illusory
so deceptive

i don’t know when love became
a frame

when the door opens
he looks only at her and by his look you know
that she looks the same way only for him

love becomes
an instant
that exchange
where no one else fits
the absurdity
of nobody else fitting
can only be a lapse
a leaf that looses
the awakening of a volcano
the destructive step of a tectonic plate
a possession

love becomes
the absurdity
in the middle of downtown Rio de Janeiro
two people close their eyes
and move their mouths
to meet each other
two people with eyes closed to all the others
the risk
is a triviality

you see i don’t
make repetition a habit
because it is precisely in these gestures
that the illusion breaks
of repeating oneself
of being the same
of touching the same body
of ignoring all the rest
of ignoring the danger of using first-person plural
and ignoring all the rest
love becomes
the observation of not being intact

and you try
you seek between the lines
a point that remains
a trick
something that gives you
the control of being the one who
rips off the leaf
who throws oneself into the magma
pierces the tsunami
conducts the rites

but you are not
the size
of your force
you are what escapes
when around you
abandonment persists
as promised
love becomes
unsustainable
